Starting Out
Daniel grew up in Leeds, England, and has been teaching English and learning languages since 2011. He started his teaching career in South Korea, teaching in the EPIK program until 2015. It was here that he found his passion and enthusiasm for teaching English and learning languages. He was able to positively impact many of his students, make friends from all over the world, and build a foundation for his future career. This early experience inspired Daniel to want to develop his English teaching skills and qualifications further.

Training & Development
After his time in Korea, Daniel returned to the U.K to complete his Master's Degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester, as well as his Teaching License, or P.G.C.E. This time was valuable for Daniel, as he got to work with students from so many different backgrounds and cultures. This inspired him to improve his pedagogy and teaching skills and was able to successfully start developing curriculum, materials, and courses for his students regularly.

A New Chapter
In 2017, Daniel then moved to Canada to take the next step in his teaching career. He first started his journey teaching in Vancouver, where he worked at a number of Colleges and Universities, teaching English, EAP, and IELTS. He again got to work with students from all over the world and help them take the first steps in their journeys living and studying in Canada. The best part about this period of his teaching career was helping make a difference in the lives of his students and supporting them to be successful in their future studies and careers.

Expert English Solutions
After Vancouver, Daniel then spent time living and working in both Halifax and Toronto. He continued his work at a range of prestigious Universities, teaching EAP, English Communication, Business Writing, and Education courses.
In 2023, Daniel and his team made the decision to create Expert English Solutions, to offer personalized teaching, content, courses, and materials to Business Professionals, Teachers, and English learners.
